Mila Maria Turk

Mila Maria Turk, beloved daughter of Mikah Hopkins and Derrick Turk, passed away at just 7 days old on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

Mila was born on November 26, 2025. Though her time on earth was brief, she brought immeasurable love and joy to her family. Her presence was a precious gift, and she will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. During her short visit on Earth, she enjoyed being held and hearing her parents and grandparents talk and sing to her, car rides, and holding her mom and dad’s fingers.

She was welcomed into heaven by her uncle, Dustan Hopkins; and her great-great grandparents, Samuel and Minnie Turk, and Terry Hall.

Mila is survived by her parents, Mikah Hopkins and Derrick Turk; grandparents, Mike and Marcy Hopkins, Jimmy and Tessa Turk, and Ray and Tammy Midden; and great grandparents, Terry and Marsha Mabile, and Jim and Faye Wingate. She is also lovingly remembered by her family cat, Mellie Turk.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th from 1 pm to 2 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 911 Porter Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564, with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm. Interment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Mila’s life, though short, was filled with pure love. Her memory will remain a constant light in the lives of her family.
