Mildred D. Robinson

Mildred D. Robinson, 76, of Ocean Springs, MS went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2016 in Ocean Springs. Mildred was born in Jackson, MS and has been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 44 years. She taught elementary school in Gulfport and Kindergarten at Big Ridge Baptist Church. Mildred was devoted to her family and her church. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Joe Robinson; and her brother Fred Dowling. Mildred’s survivors include her daughters, Martha (Perry) Cash, Miriam (Tim) LaRue and Dianne (Jim) Moore; her son, Brian Robinson; her brother, Harry Dowling; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to Parkway Baptist Church Building Fund, 16372 Old Woolmarket Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 7:00 pm. Friends may visit from 5:00 pm until service time. Interment will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockport, MS.
