Minnie "Esther" Harris

Mrs. Minnie "Esther" Harris, 82, of Vancleave, MS, died Friday, March 5, 2010, in Vancleave. Mrs. Harris was born April 17, 1927. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. She loved her church and extended family. She was a member of Graceland Baptist Church in Vancleave. Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, of 61 years, Malachi T. Harris of Vancleave; her three daughters, Sondra (Jimmy) Johnson of Long Beach, Donna (Jim) Bevier of Vancleave, and Brenda (Billy) Fulton of Vancleave; her sister, Violet Turman of Waco, Texas; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gulf Coast Hospice, 4107 Popps Ferry Road, D'Iberville, MS 39540, or to the chairty of your choice. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
