Minnie Jean Handy

Mrs. Minnie Jean Handy, age 60, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and a graduate of Gulfport High School. Mrs. Handy was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mary C. Crain, and her sister, Patricia Burton. She is survived by her husband, Michael Handy; her children, Jason Crain, Michael Handy and William Handy; her grandchildren, Miles Handy, Auset Handy, Da Kyra Handy, Miesha Handy and William Handy, II; and two sisters, Joy Hooper and Sherry Johnson. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
