Miyako Harbison

Miyako Harbison, age 76, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009. Miyako was born December 10, 1932 in Sapporo Hokkido Japan. She had been a coastal resident for thirty-two years. She will be remembered as a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother. Miyako leaves cherished memories for her husband, Max Harbison; her three children, Janice L. Carrell, James L. Harbison, and Janet A. Bates; her grandchildren, Shannon M. Sumpter, Brian D. Bates, and Meken Yaceczko; and son-in-law, Curtis J. Carrell. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until the service.
