Mrs. Dale Frances Heidgerken

Mrs. Dale Frances Heidgerken, age 86, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. She was born on October 27, 1939, in Biloxi, MS, to the late Albert D’Orville, Sr. and Helen Wallis D’Orville.

Dale attended school in Biloxi and graduated from Perkinston Junior College with an associate degree in accounting. For many years, she volunteered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she worked in the church office. She enjoyed caring for her plants, watching game shows, attending church and senior group activities, and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert D’Orville, Sr. and Helen Wallis D’Orville; her loving husband, Benedict C. Heidgerken; her grandchild, John Charles Poelma, III; and by her siblings, Albert D’Orville, Jr. and Glenn D’Orville.

Dale is survived by her daughters, Theresa L. Poelma (John) and Judith D. Allen (Jimmy); grandchildren, Justin Poelma (Saemi), Jacob Poelma (Brittany), Adam Poelma (Hope), Ethan Allen, and Heather Allen; and great-grandchildren, Yuna Poelma, Sawyer Poelma, and Everett Poelma.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville. Friends may visit one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Dale’s memory to Sacred Heart Catholic Church- Capital Campaign, 10446 LeMoyne Blvd., D’Iberville, MS 39540.
