Nancy Jane Martin

Nancy Jane Martin, age 85, of Biloxi, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 5, 2023.

Nancy was a longtime resident of Heber Springs, AR, until she moved to the MS Gulf Coast to be closer to her daughter. She was a longtime registered nurse and graduated from St Vincent’s School of Nursing. She was a career Navy wife and was an active volunteer with the Red Cross, her local hospital, and the humane society. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Orlien and Margaret Couch; and her husband, Marshall Martin, Sr.

Survivors include her 2 children, Marshall Martin Jr (Sarah) and Katherine Cain (Andy); her 4 grandchildren, Drew Cain (Stephanie), Zach Martin (Anna), Matt Cain, and Julie Fields (Seth); and 5 great grandchildren, Ellie, Owen, Cadence, Peter, and Jed.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your local humane society.

A special thank you to Saad Healthcare and their hospice team.

A family service will be held at the National Cemetery, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at later date.
