Nancy V. Wisniewski

It is with profound sadness that the family announce Nancy Wisniewski’s passing with her family by her side on Friday, June 9 at the age of 82 years. 

Nancy was born in Connecticut in 1941 to James and Virginia. While she held a number of jobs, she worked for many years as a nurse’s aide caring for others. Early in life, she enjoyed cooking, baking and days on the farm, while later, she was dedicated to caring for her beloved kitten, Bella. A passionate collector of antique dolls, she enjoyed finding treasures from years past. On every warm, sunny day she could be found enjoying her morning coffee at a table outside, watching the birds and squirrels welcome her to a new day. 

I want to thank you Mom, for all of your love, care and wisdom. You are forever in my heart and memories. I am grateful for the time we had together and so saddened that were apart.

Nancy leaves behind daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Randy Smith, as well as daughters; Denise [Rob] Shellhouse, and Cathleen [Jim] Phillip along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, and special nieces. 

Nancy was predeceased by her children; Russell Ensling, Teejay Wisniewski and Dianna Keeling. 

At Nancy’s request, no services will be held. 

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport for their care and compassion.
