Naomi Holland King, 84, of Ocean Springs, went to be with the Lord after a brief illness on February 4, 2016. She had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 66 years. Known as “Granny King”, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Granny King was very active in her local church, D’Iberville Christian Assembly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. “Bob” King; parents, Hyram and Sally Holland; six siblings; granddaughters, Sharronda King and April King.
She is survived by her daughter, Regina (Earl) Etheridge; sons, Rev. James (Peggy) King and Robert (Faye) King; sisters, Jean Roberts and Jewell Irby; brother, Daniel Holland; seven grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
The family expresses a special thank you to Tara Misnick, Singing River Rehab and Nursing Center and Southern Care Hospice for the care and devotion shown to their mother.
Services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:00pm at D’Iberville Christian Assembly. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial to follow Biloxi City Cemetery.
