Nathan Nicholas Joseph Olshefsky passed away on March 19, 2022 in Roseville, California. He was a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast before relocating to North Central California in 2006.
 
Nathan was born December 19th, 1981 in Schenectday, New York. Growing up he was an active participant in school sports and was an honor roll student. He attended D'Iberville High School from 1998 to 2000. He later obtained his GED and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before moving to California.
 
He was employed in general construction for a number of years before a back injury, building houses along the Gulf Coast & North Central California.
 
In Yuba City, California, he studied martial arts and received multiple awards/medals at Kuk Sool Won. His hobbies included martial arts, playing guitar, astronomy, working on his truck, camping and ghost hunting with friends.
 
He is preceded in death by his parents: Stan Olshefsky, of Schnectady, New York, and Patricia Mary Margaret Myllykangas of Vancleave, Mississippi. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Stanley "Junior" Olshefsky; his Uncles, Albert & Timothy Morris; his Aunts, Deborah Morris, Susan Gelwick; and his grandparents.
 
Nathan is survived by his wife, Rachel L. Steward of Pollock Pines, California; his son, Evan Brashers; Step-father, Paul Myllykangas; and siblings, Patrick Olshefsky, Daniel Olshefsky, Stephen Olshefsky, Michelle Houston, and James Houston.
