Norma Stewart Robinson

Norma Stewart Robinson, 80, of Hattiesburg, MS passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016. She was born in Pell City, AL on April 9, 1936, and was a long-time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She retired in 1994 after 33 years of teaching Elementary and Middle School in Alabama and Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Robinson of Biloxi, MS; parents, John and Elva Stewart (Brown) of Pell City, AL. She is survived by her daughter, Deidre Robinson of Hattiesburg; son, Derek (Eleshia) Robinson of Chelsea, AL; sister, Johnnie Dell Hall of Montevallo, AL; grandchildren Dalton Daniel Robinson of Hattiesburg, MS, Brady Daniel Robinson and Emily Raye Robinson of Chelsea, AL. A joint memorial service will be held for Norma and Bill Robinson, who died August 10, 2005, at 2pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
