Orey Lee Krohn

Orey Lee Krohn, 86, of D’Iberville, MS, passed away at his home on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Orey Lee was born on December 17, 1939, in D’Iberville, MS, to Orey Oliver and Irene Krohn. He graduated from D’Iberville High School in 1959. Orey Lee worked as an automotive mechanic for 46 years, spending the majority of his career at Dees Chevrolet in Biloxi.

He loved spending time with his family, being outdoors, and taking care of the Krohn Hill property.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orey Oliver and Irene Krohn; his sister, Marlene Dobson; his brothers, Wayne Krohn and Kirby Krohn; and his son-in-law, Frank Saponaro.

Orey Lee is survived by his wife, Janet Marie Krohn; his children, Delia Krohn, Wade Krohn (Melanie), Glenda Krohn, Amy Thibodeaux (Gerry) and Beth Gunter (Joseph); his grandchildren, Kristy Havard, Jessica Lee, Garrett Thibodeaux (Jess), Annie Thibodeaux (Luke), Kyleigh Krohn and Leyton Gunter; and his great-grandchildren, Lexi Lee, Jordan Havard, London Lee, Landon Lee and Lainey Lee.

The family will hold a private service at their residence on Krohn Hill.

The family would like to thank all of their family and friends for checking in and visiting, as well as Enhabit Home Health and Hospice. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Richard Smith for his exceptional care of their father for more than 40 years.
