Mr. Otto "Toby" Emile, Jr., age 89, of Biloxi passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
Mr. Emile was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was an US Army Veteran of World War II where he served in the 77th infantry. He participated in the invasion of Okinawa, Japan and was also a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He was formerly employed with United Novelty Co., F&F Distributing and the Boardwater Marina. He enjoyed watching the Saints play football, the NY Yankees and was a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Mr. Emile was preceded in death by his wife, Madelyn Maumus Emile; parents, Otto Emile, Sr. and Margie Bennett Emile; son, Michael Joseph Emile; sisters, Catherine Anderson and Gloria Madsen; and brothers, Jimmy Emile, Sr., Billy Emile, Sr. and George Emile, Sr.
Survivors include his daughters, Sherry (Orin) Eleuterius and Louise (John) Leckich; son, Stanley (Cindy) Fournier, Jr.; grandchildren, Lillian Ray, Maggie Fournier, Orin Eleuterius, Jr. and Bonnie Eleuterius; and five great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in
Biloxi, is in charge of arrangements.
