Patricia Ann Chiles

Patricia Ann Chiles, 85 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on July 24, 2026.

She was born on November 20, 1940 in Grand Rapids, MI to Newell Augustus Cowles and Marion Elizabeth Wood Cowles. She attended Jackson County Junior College. She is a long-time resident of Ocean Springs MS, where she lived with her husband, Richard of 66 years. She enjoyed Family gatherings, Casino Meet and Greets, boating and fishing adventures with her loved ones.

Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Truman Cowles, Col Stewart Cowles; mom, Marion Cowles-Wood; and dad, Newell Cowles.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Chiles; son, David (Doris) Chiles; daughter, Laura Cruz-Morales; daughter, Constance; daughter, Michelle (Jeff) Stanfill; sister, Darlene Batson; brothers, George Tromp, Curtis Cowles, Tom Cowles; countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on August 22, 2026. Patricia’s remains will be laid to rest alongside Richard’s when that day comes.
