Patsy Ann Dougherty Senseney, 85, lost her battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease on October 23, 2018 in Ocean Springs, MS.
She was born in Omaha, NE to William and Josephine Dougherty and later moved to Hot Springs, AR where she graduated from Fountain Lake High School. Patsy later visited the Mississippi Gulf Coast where she met and married William Joseph (Joe) Senseney. Patsy worked at Keesler Federal Credit Union where she assisted with establishing the Title and Insurance Department. Upon retirement from the credit union, she worked for the Biloxi Public School System as the school librarian at Howard II Elementary. Patsy could often be seen volunteering in the Biloxi Teachers Credit Union.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Gene Dougherty and Richard Dougherty, her sisters Shirley Randall and Josephine Luker, and a grandson Walter Crane Guy.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Chapman, Connie Guy, Joy Brown, two step daughters Jean Gazzo and Marsha Moore (Steve); a son, Patrick Walker, a step son, Joe Senseney (Rae) and sixteen grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 27, from 9:30 am until 11 am, with an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial, all at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
