Peggy Jeane Herrod

Peggy Jeane Herrod, 84 of D’Iberville, MS died on Monday, January 30, 2012. Ms Herrod had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast since 1996. She was a Southern Baptist and attended Bay Vista and Popps Ferry Baptist churches. Ms Herrod was a retired school teacher and had taught in 15 countries for the Dept. of Defense and she traveled to over 20 countries. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Herrod; her parents, Alfred and Ruby Pemberton; sister, Sue Bush. Ms Herrod is survived by her daughter, Katie (Dean) Stolt; brother, Bill Pemberton; two grandchildren, Madison and Cooper and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Popps Ferry Baptist Church. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, is in charge of arrangements.
