Peggy Joyce Kennedy Kelly

Peggy Joyce Kennedy Kelly, age 74, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Mrs. Kelly was a native of Copiah County, MS and a longtime resident of Ocean Springs. She was the spouse of a U.S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett N. Kelly. Survivors include a daughter, Sharron Keen, son, James (Sharon) Kelly, four sisters, Billie Jean (Tommy) Cook, Dorcas Turnbo, Mildred Newell and Liz (John) Guittenberg, brother, Willie Edward Carpenter, three grandchildren, Collin Kennedy, Lyndsay Keen and Erin Brown and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 15, from 9am until 11:15am, with an 11:15 am funeral service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
