Peggy Reinike Parker, age 79, passed peacefully early Tuesday morning, March 29, 2016 with her grandson by her side. Peggy was born in Long Beach, Ms and graduated from Long Beach High School in 1954. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Albertha Reinike; her beloved husband of over 44 years, Donnie Parker; sisters, Alma Rose, Emily Norwood and Catherine Pique; and her best friend of almost 50 years, Joan Johnston. Peggy is survived by her beloved daughter, Dona (Stephen) Parker Horne, and her pride and joy, her two grandsons Alex and Miles Horne all of Ft. Collins, Colorado; sister, Betty Menard; many nieces and nephews; her longtime friend of many years, Carolyn Tiblier; and her little four legged furry friend Rachel. . . Peggy devoted many hours of her time to Our Lady of Fatima Church and school where she held the positon of PTA President and was a homeroom mother for many years. Peggy pursued a career in Real Estate in 1987 and worked for several companies including ReMax, Century 21, Popps Ferry Realty, and AJ McMurphy. Over the years Peggy made her way to become a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Club, as well as attaining Gold, Bronze and Silver recognition. Friends and Family are invited to a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Tuesday April 5, 2016 where friends may visit from 1:00–2:00pm with mass following at 2:00pm. In Lieu of Flowers the family prefers donations be made to Biloxi Little Theatre 220 Lee St. Biloxi, MS 39530. Peggy’s two grandsons are both very active in Theatre and would love for their grandmother’s legacy to live on by donating to such a wonderful organization that brings joy to so many. The family would like to express their deep thanks and gratitude to Gulfport Care Center, staff of Ocean Springs Hospital, The Gardens Personal Care Facility and especially Peggy’s nephew Dr. Gary Sinopoli. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe is in charge of arrangements.
