Peter Joseph Dacri, Sr.

Peter Joseph Dacri, Sr., age 80 of Vancleave, MS passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

He was born on December 27, 1942. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA. He had been a resident of Vancleave since 1991. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Vancleave.

Peter was preceded in death by his son, Peter Dacri, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Patricia Dacri; stepdaughter, Dawn Forney; step son, David P. Downey; niece, Jamie Whitman; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Peter’s memory to Holy Spirit Catholic Church or St. Jude’s.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior.
