Phyllis Ann Schroeder

Phyllis Ann Schroeder, age 74, passed away on September 9, 2016 peacefully at her home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She was born on February 19, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Elks Lodge BPOE 2501 and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Phyllis attended Hallahan High School in Philadelphia, PA. She married Daniel Schroeder on August 27, 1960 in Philadelphia, PA and they were married for 56 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Mildred Maguire; brothers, Robert, Thomas, and William Maguire; and a sister, Jeanette Marinelli. She is survived by her spouse, Daniel Schroeder; her children, Colleen (Richard) White, Laura (Ronald) Owen, and Daniel Schroeder, Jr; grandchildren, Ronnie, Danielle Marie, Brendan, Chelsea, Danielle Ashley, and Katie; sisters, Sarah Joyce and Rosemary Jarzemski; brothers, John Maguire and Daniel Maguire; and a family friend, Rhondalyn McDaniel. Services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
