Raloma "Jeaneane" Cowan

Raloma “Jeaneane” Cowan, age 85, of Biloxi, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Gulfport.

Jeaneane was born on June 9, 1941, in Biloxi to Ray Alonzo Manuel and Henrietta Penton Fayard. She was retired from Dillards. Our beautiful mother loved the beach, shopping, watching birds and watching all movies, especially murder mysteries and Columbo.

Jeaneane was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Kenneth Fayard, Jr. and Jerry Fayard.

Survivors include her children, Melinda O’Keefe, Melissa Brown, Melanie Cowan, and Monica Nigro; siblings, Johnny Fayard, Jimmy Fayard, Janice Johnson, and Jeanelle White; grandchildren, Cherie Wilhelm, Bridgette O’Keefe Lovelace, Rachel Shoemaker, Steven Kellum, Robby Ellis, Lauren Friedrich, Meagan Gill and Richie Brown; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Biloxi City Cemetery.
