Ramona Thompson Eleuterius Scruggs

Ramona "Skinny" Thompson Eleuterius Scruggs, 80, of Biloxi, MS died Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Skinny was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She retired from Bell South after 37 years. She was a member of Bell South Pioneers, active in Mardi Gras and a long-standing member of a pokeno club. Her friends and family were her life and she enjoyed every bit of it. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Wilamena Breal Thompson; husband, Ronald D. Eleuterius brothers, Doug, Ed and John "Spud" Thompson. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Eleuterius, Biloxi; nephews and nieces, Tommy, Kirk, Tina, Butch Thompson and Donna Necaise. The family wishes to thank the Ocean Springs Hospital and their ICU for their kind care. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Our Lady of Fatima/St. Vincent de Paul, 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531.
