Rannie "Pete" Fountain

Rannie “Pete” Fountain, 74, formerly of Vancleave, MS, currently a resident of Tibbie, AL died Friday, May 13, 2016. He was a native of Mobile, AL and grew up in Vancleave, MS. Pete was a resident of Tibbie, AL for the past 45 years. He was a retired Superintendent with Brown and Root. Pete was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Newton Fountain and Josephine Lane Fountain; grandson, Ronnie Fountain; his brothers, Stanley Fountain, Joseph Fountain and Eugene Fountain; and a sister, BC Corbello. Pete is survived by his wife of many years, Carolyn Fountain; daughter, Cecilia (Ernest) Smith; son, Jeffery Fountain; sisters, Mary (Douglas) Dean and Bobbie (Boe) Parnell; brother, Bryant (Mary) Fountain; three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Vancleave Cemetery.
