Ray Howard Olier

Ray Howard Olier, age 75, a lifelong resident of Biloxi, passed away late Sunday evening, September 13, 2026.

Ray was born to Rayford Olier and Alice Olier on December 16th, 1950 in Biloxi, MS. He attended Biloxi High School and was part of the graduating class of 1969 as well as the Biloxi High School football team. He married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Nichols, in 1970 and they brought two beautiful children into the world. Ray was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing with his lifelong friends. He built a successful career as a pipe welder for many years, and upon retiring he spent his time surrounded by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rayford Olier; his mother, Alice Olier; and his wife, Patricia Olier. Ray is survived by his brothers, Mark and Kim Olier; his sister, Rochelle Sweet; his daughter, Theresa Olier; his son, Rayford Olier Jr.; his granddaughter, Raven Paulin; and his great-grandson, Beckham Paulin.

Ray was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; all titles in which he wore and cherished proudly. He was a friendly face to all around him and cared deeply for his family more than anything. Ray was surrounded by an abundance of love and support, and his memory will live on and forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Visitation and service will be held at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm and service will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
