Rebecca T Switzer

Under the “Friendship Oak” in Long Beach, Jim and Bekka met and started their long journey together. Married in February of 1960, the two raised their two children and watched 5 grandchildren cross their threshold and grow to be outstanding young adults. On March 1, 2016, Bekka joined her husband of 56 years to complete their journey together in the kingdom of our Father. Rebecca T Switzer is preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Chuck Taylor and Florence Carrick and her husband James V Switzer. She leaves behind her son Chuck, daughter-in law Tricia Switzer, daughter Yvonne, son-in law Doug Ainsworth, and Grandchildren Jamie and Patrick Ainsworth, and Taylor, Jordan, and Jansen Switzer all of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. On Sunday March 13 at 2:00 pm, Jim and Bekka will be reunited in a small gathering under the “Friendship Oak” at the University of Southern Mississippi in Long Beach with family and friends. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the White Wolf Sanctuary P.O. Box 65, Tidewater OR 97390. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements. View and sign register book at www.bradfordokeefe.com
