Richard Allen Blanton

Richard Allen Blanton, 92, of Gulfport died Thursday, August 6, 2026. He was born in Flatwoods, KY and had been a resident of the Armed Forces Retirement Home for about 15 years.

Mr. Blanton retired from the United States Air Force as a TSgt in 1974 after over 20 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Blanton. Survivors include a nephew, Daniel C. Blanton.

A graveside service, with military honors by the United States Air Force, will be on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
