Richard William King

Mr. Richard William King, Sr., age 73, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017. Mr. King was born on September 21, 1943 in Biloxi, MS. He served as a Marksman in the US Army and was drafted to Vietnam. He worked at Barq’s Bottling Company and retired from Broome’s Grocery. He was a very generous man who helped so many people. He had a good, playful sense of humor and was of the Catholic faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vera King; and siblings, Rosemary Hanson, J.C. King, Shirley Wood, Lois Wescovich and Janiece King. Survivors include his son, Richard King, Jr; and sister, Glenda Seymour. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 1-2pm. A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Biloxi National Cemetery.
