Riley Eugene Logan, 78 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
He was born on March 11, 1947, in Leachville, Arkansas to Marvin Earl Logan and Mirley Rodgers Logan. He graduated from Leachville High School in 1965. He served in the United States Navy. After his service in the Navy, he worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding for thirty-four years. Riley served as an elder at the Ocean Springs church of Christ for 20 years. He enjoyed watching baseball, the Atlanta Braves, and Arkansas Razorbacks.
Riley was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Earl Logan and Mirley Rodgers Logan; and daughter Sarah Logan; and sibling, Patsy Lucille (Leon) Dunlap; and niece Amanda Stegall Swanson.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Alana Elizabeth Flynn Logan; children, Stephanie Jean Logan, Shannon Lee (Stephen) Dearin, Shelly Ann Logan, and Samantha Eileen (Herman) Bosarge; grandchildren, Matthew Douglas Bertram, Joseph Wallace Rood, Sidney Jillian Dearin, Gavin Riley Logan, Seth James Dearin, Sean Logan Dearin, Chase Alexander Bosarge and Evan Brady Bosarge; great-grandchild, Sebastian Gohan August Bertram; sibling, Larry Jo (Zenaida) Logan; and pet, Submarine, aka Sub.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Ocean Springs Church of Christ Food Pantry, 1116 Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Ocean Springs Church of Christ. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Ocean Springs Church of Christ. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
