Riley Leroy Sanders

Riley Leroy Sanders, 72, of Mobile, AL passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Mobile. Born on September 12, 1943 in Vicksburg, MS, Riley spent most of his adult life on the MS Gulf Coast, relocating to Mobile, AL after Hurricane Katrina. Riley was preceded in death by his parents, Ora Leroy Sanders and Edna Smith Sanders; his loving sister, Sara “Jean” Agustin; and brother, JV Sanders. He is survived by his daughter Heather Jenkins (Jamie) of Long Beach; son, Johnathan Sanders (Marge) of Biloxi; brother, Charles Sanders; and sister, Elaine Carroll both of Vicksburg; the two Loves of his Life, his granddaughters, Breelie and Kinsey Jenkins; his step-granddaughter, Brook Jenkins; and his fury companion, Charlie. Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project. Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport. Family and friends may visit from 10-11am.
