Rita F. "Fran" Boswell

Mrs. Rita F. "Fran" Boswell, age 76, of Biloxi, MS., went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Fran was an active member of Cedar Lake Christian Assembly and a longtime resident of the coast. She was also an active member of the Womens Aglow on the coast for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John F. Scanlon and Mary Carlyn Scanlon and a brother, John L. Scanlon. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Charles E. "Charlie" Boswell of Biloxi, MS., two children, John M. Boswell of Moline, IL. and William "Bill" (Una) Boswell of Ocean Springs, MS., three grandchildren, Lauren M. Boswell of Moline, MO., Brandon A. Boswell and Jared M. Boswell, both of Ocean Springs, MS., and stepgranddaughter, Christina Scaturro Hamilton of Vancleave, MS. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 24, 2011, from 5 pm until 7 pm, at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, July 25, 2011, there will be a 12 noon church service, at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly, 11555 Cedar Lake Rd., North Biloxi, MS.,39532. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to Cedar Lake Christian Assembly Church. The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
