Robert Lynn Chavis

Robert Lynn Chavis, 72, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Gulfport.

Robert was a native of Memphis, TN and a longtime resident of the coast. He was a former casino dealer and an avid motorcyclist. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Cleo Buchanan Chavis; his brother, George Allen Chavis; and his sisters, Betty Jean Chavis and Lavonne Golden.

Robert’s survivors include his wife of 24 years, Debra Chavis; his sons, Robert Lynn Seiler and Christopher Daniel Seiler; his granddaughter, Harlee Renee Seiler; his sisters, Joan (Alan) Santa Cruz, Karen Chavis and Juanita Ballard; his brother, Wayne Chavis; his sister-in-law, JoAnn Chavis; numerous nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friend, Wendall Derouen.

Private services will be held.
