Robert Eustis McManus III

Robert Eustis McManus, III was born on November 19, 1951, and went to his eternal home on Monday, July 27, 2026.

Robert attended medical school in Texas and at Ole Miss. He also attended the University of Southern Mississippi for his Master of Science. Robert was of the Catholic faith.

Robert worked for Dupont for over 40 years, retiring with many distinguishing honors and inventions. He was extremely smart, hilarious, and helped a tremendous amount of people through what he accomplished in his career.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Eustis McManus, II and Jeanette Cook McManus; and his sister, Suzanne McManus Hendry.

Robert leaves behind his wife, Janet McManus; two children, Robert Eustis McManus, IV (Jessica) and Kim McManus Sweeney (Thomas); five grandchildren, Robert Eustis McManus, V, William Russell McManus, Stella Camille McManus, Lillian Elizabeth Sweeney, and Grace McKay Sweeney; two sisters, Lisa Marina McManus and Jan Elizabeth McManus; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A private service will be held.
