Roderrick Stacee Jones, born April 24, 1975, in El Dorado, Arkansas, passed away on June 24, 2026, in Gulfport, Mississippi. His gracious spirit and unwavering devotion to his faith, family and friends left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Roderrick was the beloved son of ST and Bettye Jones. He shared an especially close bond with his family, cherishing time spent with his parents, his sister Bethanie Jones, his brother Collin Jones, and his late brother Marquess Jones. Roderrick found great joy in gathering at his parents’ home and cooking alongside his mother—culinary moments that became treasured family traditions. His favorite dishes were orange chicken and lo mien.
A proud graduate of d'Iberville High School, Roderrick’s commitment to excellence shone brightly throughout his career. He served as Senior Manager at The Grand Resort in Point Clear, Alabama, where he was highly respected by colleagues and received several letters of appreciation for his hard work and dedication. Roderrick was the recipient of the 2021 Bucky’s Hospitality Award and the 2022 Whatever it Takes (WIT) Award. He was also a graduate of the PCH Leadership Academy.
Roderrick was passionate about travel, including his journeys through Europe and creating lifelong friends in Germany. At home, his hobbies reflected his creativity and joy in life; he took delight in collecting miniature cars, experimenting with new recipes, drawing, and tending to colorful flowers. Roderrick thrived most when surrounded by family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 6813 Cheyenne Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532. Family, friends, and colleagues are invited to gather and remember the remarkable life of Roderrick Stacee Jones.
