Ronald Adair "Ron" Gibbs

Ronald Adair “Ron” Gibbs, age 72, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.

Ron was born on January 3, 1951 in Jacksonville, FL and graduated from Pompano Beach High School. He lived in Pompano Beach until joining the U.S. Air Force in 1978 where he served 20 years. Ron enjoyed working on cars and loved being around his children and grandchildren.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Dorothy Monroe Gibbs.

Survivors include hie ex-wife, Karen Gibbs; daughter, Kylie D. Hood; son, Sean Adair Gibbs; grandchildren, Olivia Grace Hood and Robert Joseph Adair “RJ” Knight; sister, Debra Jackson, and brothers, Jerry Gibbs and Richard Gibbs.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Gibbs family.
