Ronald Anthony “Ron” Lechner, Jr., age 61, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025. Born on March 8, 1964 in Biloxi to Ronald Anthony Lechner, Sr. and Mary Lea Gazzo Lechner, Ron was a lifelong Coast resident.
A graduate of Biloxi High School, Class of 1983, Ron later became the owner and operator of Pro South Paint & Collision in D’Iberville, dedicating 15 years to serving his customers.
Ron loved the simple joys of life on the Coast—throwing his cast net and catching “Biloxi bacon,” boating, and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed working on projects around his home and land, always finding something to fix, build, or improve. Ron loved watching football and having a good time, bringing laughter and smiles to everyone around him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph F. Lechner, Sr. and Myrtle Fryou Lechner and Jack A. Gazzo, Sr. and Leona Kopszywa Gazzo.
Ron is survived by his son, Sean Jacob Lechner; his parents, Ronald Anthony Lechner, Sr. and Mary Lea Gazzo Lechner; his sisters, Ronika (Lechner) Dorcik and Hope (Lechner) Gilson; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many cousins, friends and colleagues who will miss him dearly. Ron was also proud to have been a stepfather during the growing years of April, Michael, Devin, Ryan, and Amanda.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until service time.
