Ronald E. Smith

Ronald E. Smith, 78, of Atmore, AL and formerly of Gulfport died Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in Atmore.

Mr. Smith was born in Gulfport and had been a resident of Alabama for about 20 years.  He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Biloxi and also a graduate of Mississippi State University. Mr. Smith previously served in the US Air Force. He was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church in Atmore.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Fayard Smith and Seymour J.E. Smith, Jr.   Survivors include his wife, Blinda Davis Smith of Atmore and a brother, Arnold E. Smith of Gulfport.

The family prefers memorials to St. Robert Catholic Church, 600 S. Main Street, Atmore, AL 36502.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2023 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
