Rosary Ann Lawton

Rosary Ann Lawton, lovingly known as “Maemae,” 65, of Kiln, passed away peacefully at her home on February 26, 2026.

Rosary was born November 13, 1960, in New Orleans to Anthony Paul Martin and Mildred Catherine Schwartz. She worked as a cosmetologist and had a special love for gardening, herbalism, and caring for her chickens. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and was a loving mother and proud “Maemae” to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Catherine Schwartz; her sister, Toni Ann Martin; and her stepmother, Carol Martin.

She is survived by her father, Anthony Martin; her brother, Scott Schwartz; her children, Jim (Ashley) Fricke, Katie Martin, and Regina Lawton; her grandchildren, Gavn, Madisyn, Ramsey, Rusten, Arlo, and Ellie; her niece, Kali Clark and her children, Violet, Sage, and Greyson; and her nephew, Dillon Ladner.

No services will be held at this time.
