Rose Mary Foster Cates

Rose Foster Cates, 62, of Biloxi, MS died on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Cates was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Woolmarket and was formerly employed with Waste Management. Mrs. Cates was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Laura Foster; son, Kevin Lively; brothers, Woodrow Foster, Jr. and Robert Foster; daughter-in-law, April Lively. Mrs. Cates is survived by her husband, Paul "Shorty" Cates; sons, Jimmy (Bridget) Lively, Jr., Keith E. (Donna) Lively, Sr., Jason P. (Kristin) Lively, Sr.; sisters, Laura Ann Hines, Wanda Genell Foster, Peggy Joyce Page, Velma Parks and Brenda Roberts; brothers, James Foster, Mike Foster, Ben Foster, Toby Foster and Johnny Foster; grandchildren, Jamee, Alex, Kyle, Ramsey, Tyler, Devon, Saylor, Tori, Keith, Jr., Keilee, Mathew, Alex, Ryleigh, Jason, Jr., and Kaleb. The family would like to give special thanks to: Rose, Jennifer and Nootsie. Visitation will be Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, September 25, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Woolmarket. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time.
