Roxy Albert Saucier

Roxy Albert Saucier, age 73, from Lizana, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, in Long Beach, Mississippi. Born on November 26, 1952, Roxy was a lifelong Mississippi resident who valued a simple, quiet life anchored by family, hard work, and the outdoors.

In his younger years, Roxy worked on the river before finding a career with the Harrison County Road Department—a place that quickly became like a second home with colleagues he considered family—where he served until his retirement. A motorcycle enthusiast at heart, Roxy loved nothing more than spending his days riding his Harley-Davidson. In his retirement years, he was happiest outdoors on his property—riding his four-wheeler, taking time to fish and pausing to catch up with family and neighbors. Roxy was a straightforward, unassuming man who never wanted anyone to fuss over him, yet he was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Thelma Saucier; his long-time companion, Janet Stewart; his brother, Ronald Saucier; his sister, Sandra Stone; and his nephews, Clint Perkins, Danny Perkins, and Aaron Perkins.

He is survived by his brother, Craigan Saucier; his nephews, Chris Perkins (Kelli), Joshua Saucier, and Javin Saucier; along with a loving extended family of aunt, great-nieces, great-nephews, and close friends.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Center for Family Life in Long Beach, especially Jod, for the compassionate care provided to Roxy during his final days.

Honoring Roxy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and his burial will be held privately by the family.
