Roy Steven Cook, affectionately known as Steve, was born on December 6, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Steve passed away peacefully at his home in Biloxi, Mississippi, on June 21, 2025. He was a cherished member of his community and a dedicated professional who worked in maintenance within the gaming industry.

Steve was known for outgoing personality and his love for life. He took great pleasure in attending events such as Cruising the Coast and the Crawfish Festivals every year, where he enjoyed sharing a beer with friends and neighbors. His warm spirit and camaraderie touched many lives, and he will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.

Steve is survived by his beloved siblings: Anne Cook (Joey Borden), Anthony "Tony" Cook (Elizabeth), and Dawn Cathleen Long (David). He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Roy Anthony Cook, Jr. and Katherine Layden.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Howard Avenue in Biloxi, Mississippi. A graveside service will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park at 1:30 PM.

Steve’s kindness and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
