Roy Palmer Childers

Roy Palmer Childers, age 59, of Gulfport, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Mobile, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Childers; his mother, Dorothy De Loach; a sister, Barbara; and three brothers, Dunley, Preston, and James. Mr. Childers is survived by his wife, Karen Childers; two sons, Nathan (Melane) Childers and Dwayne Childers; two sisters, Nancy Coppock and Martha Paul; a brother, Earnest (Linda) Childers; and two granddaughters, Claire and Ava Childers. The funeral service will be Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Michael Memorial Baptist Church, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 2:00 p.m. burial will be private.
