Russell Eugene Little

Mr. Russell Eugene Little, age 70, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Mr. Little was born on January 13, 1948, in Meigs County, Ohio, to Russell M. and Pearl Wyatt Little. He graduated from high school and enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he received two purple hearts and the Medal of Valor. He was a former commander of the VFW in Millersport, Ohio. Mr. Little retired as an engineer for ATT after 28 1/2 years. His hobbies included fishing, boating, camping and racing and was a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Pearl. Survivors include his wife, Kay, children, Russell (Matt) and wife, Renae, Valarie and husband, Jerry, Kerry Rinker and Kelly Rinker, his siblings, Marie Birchfield and Sandy (Larry) Spridik, eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, January 14, from 11:30am until 1:30pm, with a 1:30pm funeral service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with Army honors. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to your favorite charity.
