Sadie W. Cox

Sadie W. Cox, age 108, of Gulfport died Friday, April 11, 2014 in Pass Christian, Mrs. Cox had been a resident of Gulfport for 80 years and was a member of First Baptist Church, Gulfport. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Cox; a daughter, Marjorie Sellier; and two sons, Ralph Preston Cox and Robert Leon Cox. Survivors include a son, John R. “Dickie” Cox and his wife, George Ann, of Gulfport; a daughter/granddaughter, Pat Hinton of Long Beach; 8 other grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A special thanks from the family to the staff of Dixie White House Nursing Home and Dr. Thomas Blanks. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
