Sallie Mae Gilson, 80, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 in Vancleave.
Mrs. Gilson was a native and resident of Mississippi for over 65 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Geraldine Hancock Carlson; her daughter, Cynthia Gilson; and her son, James “Jimmy” Gilson.
Mrs. Gilson’s survivors include her husband of 65 years, James E. Gilson, Sr.; her daughter, Alisa Gilson; her sister, Diane Davis; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Swetman Cemetery.
