Sally Ann Rhodes

Sally Ann Rhodes, 71, of Ocean Springs, MS died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in Ocean Springs. Sally was a lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Sally was employed as a waitress for over 40 years, working for restaurants such as Baricev’s Restaurant and the Palace Casino. Sally is preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Rhodes, Jr.; her parents, Allonzo and Melvina Brumbaugh; her sisters, Gail Balius and Mary Tillinghast; and her brothers, Jack Brumbaugh, Wade Brumbaugh and Oral Brumbaugh. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Thomas J. Rhodes, Sr.; her son, Robert R. (Michelle) Rhodes of Vancleave; her daughters, Wanda Gray of St. Martin and Darlene (Earl) Delaune of Biloxi; her sister, Hilda Brumbaugh; her brothers, Gene Brumbaugh, Robert Brumbaugh and Mack Brumbaugh; her grandchildren, Sabrina Delaune, Ronnie Saujon, Justin Ross, Brandon Rhodes, Cassie Rhodes, Wade Rhodes, David Gray, Chelsea Gray, Maddy Gray, Bobby Rhodes, Thomas Rhodes, Andrew Rhodes and Hannah Rhodes; and her great-grandchildren, Sydney, Alyssa, Kelsey, Bryson, Jaxson, Mya, Londen and Cole. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Deputy Gray of Jackson County Sheriff’s Department for his kindness and compassion. A Graveside Service will be held at D’Iberville Memorial Park on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
