Shane Massingill

Shane Massingill, 45, of Gautier, MS passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 in Gautier.

Shane was born in Ocean Springs and attended Ocean Springs public schools. He was employed as an electrician at Ingall’s Shipyard. Shane was an avid Saints fan and enjoyed golfing. He will be remembered as a devoted father and son, and generous with friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Ann Florence; and his paternal grandparents, Sam and Mary Massingill.

Shane’s survivors include his daughters, Amelia Joy Massingill and Annistin Lindley; his mother, Dianne (Daniel) Barber; his father, Larry R. (Teresa) Massingill; and numerous aunts and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until service time.
