Sharon Marie Galle

Sharon Marie Newman Galle, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Sharon was born on July 30, 1968 in Biloxi, MS. Though much can be said about her, the story of Sharon’s life begins and ends with her unwavering faith and devotion to God. Her trust in the Lord and His ultimate design shone brightly in her many different roles. As a mother, she unconditionally loved her son in a way that showed him even the slightest glimpse of how God perfectly loves His creation. With her family, she showered them with compassion, grace, and understanding. To her friends, she served as a disciple with the mission of presenting them the grace and mercy of Jesus. Through the ups and downs this world threw at her, as a result of her faith, she is now more alive than ever.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Anna Newman; and her brother, Nicholas Newman.

Survivors include her son, Jacob (Breley) Galle; brother, Herbert (Amanda) Newman III; niece, Emily Newman; nephew, Herbert Newman IV; and a host of extended family and friends.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to the friends, family, and medical staff who assisted throughout Sharon’s cancer journey. You are all greatly appreciated.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 19, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. A reception at St. Elizabeth Seton’s Fannon Hall will follow the burial.
