Sheila Maureen Noonan Hallman, age 74 of Vancleave, MS passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 29, 2021. She was born August 31, 1947. She was a native of London, England; she has been a resident of the Coast since 1991. She was a former employee of the Palace Casino as a slot-shift manager receiving several awards. She loved interior design, animals, baking, Christmas, and sharing her British traditions. As a military spouse, she played a vital role supporting her husband’s Navy career of twenty-six years. Sheila was recognized by the US Navy for outstanding service, volunteering for the USS Stark following the missile attack of 1987. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, James Noonan and Jeanie Lillie. She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, James D. Hallman; children, Samantha (Tom) Machak, Heath (Laura) Bownes, Sarah Hallman, Antoinette (Ellwood) Tegtmeier, and Jaime (Christopher) Guttierrez; sister, Margaret (Glenn) Noonan; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Vancleave, MS. Mass will be at 11am on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Nativity B.V.M. in Biloxi, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior; burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
