Sherry Ann Sutterfield

Sherry Ann Sutterfield, 53, of Vancleave, MS passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Sherry was born May 23, 1970 to Elvin and Myrtle Waltman.

Sherry was a native and lifelong resident of Vancleave. She was previously employed by Ingalls Shipyard, where she worked in the Planner Pipe Department. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and the Vancleave Live Oak Choctaw Tribe.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Myrtle Waltman.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, William S. Sutterfield; daughters, Myrtle (Zakary) Webb and Elvalyn G. Sutterfield; stepchildren, Shana (Bradley) Keen, William S. Sutterfield Jr., and Stephanie (Kyle) Dueitt; sisters, Verdie (Johnny) Bradley and Theresa Waltman; brothers, Steve Waltman and Timothy (Jacque) Waltman; and 3 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Beulah Baptist Church in Vancleave, MS. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery.
