Shirlee Smith Harrison Joffrion Hathaway

Shirlee Smith Harrison Joffrion Hathaway died April 8, 2005 in Auburn, AL. Born in Halsell, AL, Mrs. Hathaway was a graduate of Quitman High School in Quitman, MS. She was a long time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast where she was involved in many civic and social organizations. Her long career included endeavors such as Administrative Assistant to a major company, proprietor of her own beauty salon, real estate, and clerk at Harrison County Justice Court. Mrs. Hathaway was preceded in death by her husband Isaac Hathaway, of Charleston, SC, and son, Richard E. Harrison of Vienna, Austria. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Harrison Moody of Summerville, SC and Rene' Joffrion Britt of Opelika, AL; a brother, Charles Smith of Jackson, MS; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a beloved pet, Ashepoo. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport at 1:00 p.m
